Nestled at the base of Timber Mountain, in Tulelake, CA, is a gem of a park, Hawk's Nest RV and Cabins. With Modoc National Forest as a background, you will be emmersed in some of the most beautiful surroundings that Northern California has to offer.
The areas surrounding Hawk's Nest RV and Cabins are an outdoorsman's paradise. Fisherman will find a bounty of lakes and stream to fish from to catch their limits. Hiking trails winding through pine forests await hikers and adventurers. There is opportunity as well for bird as well as big game hunting for the hunters in the group. Boating and golfing can also be done near the park too. Visit the Lava Beds and walk through the lava tubes for a fun day trip. No one in your group will be bored with the amount of things that there is to do just outside the park's entrance.
Hawk's Nest RV and Cabins is accommodating no matter what your camping style is. There are wide, spacious RV sites with full hookups for those that like to bring home with them. For those of you that are tent campers there are nice sites with plenty of shade from the nearby pine trees. And for those that like more luxury, there are fully furnished cabins. Coming soon the park will also have "glamping" tents as well.
On-site there is a country store for those last minute forgotten items or a sweet treat. The park has clean restrooms and free showers for guests to use. For those staying a little longer there are also laundry facilities available. Lounge in the recreation room and play games or use the free Wi-Fi. For something more active play a game of horseshoes and coming soon there will also be a kid's play area, bocce ball and a volleyball court. The park also does group campfires, they provide the wood, which offers guests a great way to get to know each other.
