The California Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (CalARVC) is partnering with MyCampMate, a friendly trip-planning app and website.
The association reported in this weeks “Wednesday Morning Coffee Talk & Updates” that “every member park will have an identifying pin on the map, with basic listing information, making it easy for the consumer to find your business.”
Social media integration allows a camper and the campgrounds to coordinate group camping trips, plan things to see and do, as well as share tips with an entire community of campers. Local deals, hot spots and geo-caching are all part of the sharing.
“We are extremely excited to see the CalARVC member locations using this platform as a customer service tool and a way to generate new business. CalARVC customers can show what there is to do on the map, such as point out an exact point of interest.”
-Tyler Campbell Founder of MyCampMate
Each member of the association is able to custom create private trips for their customers. These trips feature and highlight points of interest, where to get provisions around their location, and local secret spots just to name a few. The ability to bring a new level of customer service for each CalARVC member is drastically enhanced by using this platform.
