This place is actually heaven, all the amenities you need, very clean, tidy and quiet. The morning dolphin experience is incredible. The food and drink is extortionate but delicious… emu’s roam around the campsite too😂 the camp kitchen had everything&the showers and toilets were lovely
This place is actually heaven on earth. Aside from the amazing bay with frequent dolphins and turtles (AND some the best sunsets I’ve ever seen) the facilities are gorgeous, modern and clean, the restaurant is absolutely delicious and the site itself is just so picturesque and pretty. We booked an extra night the second we arrived! Staff were also so lovely and helpful!
A bit more expensive, but a superb location. We saw lots of turtles at the jetty. Dolphins appeared in the afternoon. Pelicans on the beach, and many emus on the campsite. The facility is very well maintained despite its size. Great camp kitchen. The restaurant was delicious. Definitely recommend it 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Very nice, the best camp kitchen we've stayed in on our trip, great amenities, a wonderfully large parents' room (bathroom). Two beautiful pools, and dolphins occasionally seen swimming in the ocean. However, it's also by far the most expensive campsite on our trip.
The campsite itself is fantastic, finally some life in the evening. Beautiful beach, restaurants, 2 swimming pools, great! Only the dolphin show was disappointing. You had to pay 15 dollars pp and it was not checked. There were 3 dolphins that have been coming there every day for years for a few fish. We were only there for 1 night. If we had had more time we would have liked to stay longer!
Loved everything about it! Wish I could stay longer!
It's expensive and there are a lot of people but the campsite is very modern and has all the facilities expected for this price. 2 swimming pools and access to the beach directly from the campsite. Allow $15 extra per person for access to the park (which also allows you to see the rangers feeding the dolphins at several times in the morning)
Great location to relax and enjoy the beautiful beach with the dolphins. The only thing to improve would be a little more shaded space especially around the pool.
I have done 5+ weeks in a camper van staying at many different caravan sites along the east, south and west coast and this is by far the BEST campsite I’ve ever stayed in. New, clean, large facilities and two onsite restaurants (food was really nice). Plus a huge outdoor heated pool and multiple access points to the beach where you can see dolphins swimming all day long. We paid $50 for a powered site which is an extremely reasonable price for this site. Would definitely recommend staying!!
Magnificent site! Truly at the end of the world. If you're taking a road trip, it's better to sleep at the start of the peninsula to save more than an hour on the road! If you want to see the dolphins, it's better to be there by 7:45 because you're not sure if they'll come later. $35 (family of 4) to have the right to approach them at the water's edge if they come.
