There was ZERO wifi available on this ferry service. When advertising they touted this as an advantage or reason for choosing Bluebridge as transportation, but I could not connect to the internet the entire trip from south to north island. The staff told me it was because there were so many passengers using the service. As a traveler that relies on hot spots, free WiFi and even paid WiFi, if a ferry services says they have it I would expect them to. I would be more than happy to pay a fee for WiFi for a 3 hour trip if it meant they actually had it and it worked. Very frustrated!!

Apart from a short time when entering the sounds we find most passengers are able to connect to the WiFi without trouble. Rest assured we do have steps in place to upgrade our WiFi system to ensure it stays consistent for all passengers. We hope you see an improvement in this service if you travel with us again.”
