Phillip Island Nature Parks Multi Park Pass
Phillip Island Nature Parks Multi Park Pass
You can’t stay on the coastal trail till the late afternoon to watch the penguins from the lookouts. A friendly ranger will come around 7-8pm to kick you out and close the gates behind you. They want you to pay the Penguin Parade down the beach. It’s expensive and very touristy.
We had the standard ticket and it was completely enough for us. We got there early and got a spot right on the beach. In my opinion, you don't need a premium ticket because you can walk across the jetty and see the penguins from up close.
We had a great time at the parade! We saw at least 50 pingouins! They are amazing and so cute! You can see them on beach walking thru the land and on the land near their houses!
We had a really good experience at the pinguin parade. We took the plus tickets at it can really be recommended. We saw so many pinguins going up to there homes. The guides were enthusiastic and really informative. I can highly recommend the pinguin parade.
The penguin parade was disappointing. At least in winter, with strong waves, it's not worth the money. With the standard package you are also very far away from the penguins.
We were just here for penguin parade which was a really cool experience! You get to see the penguins walk up from the sea and up to their homes, we even saw two of them making baby penguins. As people have said, no cameras are allowed but thats just basically because the flash harms the penguins and I mean you go there for the experience not for the pictures
I really loved this. I would recommend to buy or the guided ranger tour or the plus tickets. If you book the plus tickets, bring your own binoculairs. They give them in the guided tour. If you buy if you buy the cheapest tickets, you are really far from the main pathway were they cross the beach and I think sight is limited.
More or less a rip off: / There were no cameras allowed.
Thousands of people come every day to see a few penguins waddle from the beach to their nests. Admittedly cute animals, but a huge operation!
