One of the best places we’ve stayed at in over 2 months on the road. Immaculate amenities and camp kitchen. Good sites. Attentive caretakers. Short walk to town.
Good campsite Near the city center. Wifi near reception Clean sanitary Good value for money!
Good campground for a short stay. The hot showers were very nice. The facilities are a bit older but well maintained. Camp kitchen was good, too.

Nice place. Very well maintained
un-timed hot showers for non-guests and very nice ensuite facilities! Well worth the price
Great stop. Well established little coastal town. The Park has all large bays for powered and unpowered, with no confusion as to where everyone's boundary lines are. Large Camp kitchen with all the essentials. Clean and tidy amenities with wonderful ensuite options too.
Great ens style bathrooms, exc pressure in right shower? good loc to explore the area especially Francois Peron Nat park if you have a 4wd cape peron lookout has a walk to the excellent skip jack lookout or vise versa but skip jack saw dolphins/ turtles/ fish and possible dugong and lemon shark fantastic
Great location. Great facilities. They give you a drill to put your tent up on the gravel floor so really helpful. Just don’t put your tent up under the pine looking trees. They release a sticky sap and is a nightmare to get off. Also lots of cockroaches at night but weren’t really a bother.
Had a lovely first night in this campsite, faculties and destination is brilliant. Such a shame our second night was made into a living nightmare! Be aware of the manager here she is the most unprofessional rude women I’v ever met. Let me start by saying this is my first complaint I’v ever made in my life. That’s how strongly I felt about making people aware of this women. After having a lovely day in shark bay, being lead to believe the people of this small beautiful city were friendly and welcoming, we left planning to head to monkey Mia. Once getting there and realising it was impossible for us to enter seeing as we did not have four wheel drive, our last resorts as to head back to this campsite as it was the closes and seeing as it was getting dark and we did not have insurance after dark due to the rental company telling us it would be much to dangerous to drive after dusk. Also seeing the buy two get the third night free seemed a good idea. Obviously we no single or internet to ring or book in advance, so we’re forced to head back and hope they had space. We arrived just after sunset and the the office was closed. There was a sign on the door saying ring in EMERGENCY in big red letters so didn’t feel it was necessary to ring the emergency number. As you can imagine were very distressed and in a panic seeing as it is illegal to camp on the streets but also at this time was illegal to drive with out insurance. Also had no way of contacting the campsite or anyone one else. We decided the best option was to stay at the entrance of the deserted campsite, the place appeared to have plenty of empty slots with hardly any customers so we new there wouldn’t be a problem with space. We planned to set an alarm for the opening time the next morning at 8am and pay in the morning first thing, and receive the third night free as the deal offers. The following morning a few minutes before our alarm went off we were abruptly awoken with nothing but rude comments. I understand this would have been frustrating and confusing for the staff but there was no need for the way we were spoke to. We were told to come to the office straight away. When I reached the office to pay and explained our situation to the owner I was told that we broke the rules and that we would not be eligible for the free third night as the system wouldn’t allow it. The unprofessional and aggressive manors of this women was incomprehensible! She was shouting over me and interrupting me constantly. I felt very threatened and attacked. She then went on to saying that if we had made an attempt to let them know such as “leave a note on the door or ring the emergency number” then maybe she would be more inclined to give us the free night. Completely contradicting her self as previously telling me it was impossible due to the computer booking system. Bottom line is she could have helped us or even been more understanding of o it situation if she wanted to but instead felt the need to belittle us and make us feel like intruders. Then to my audacity she then said that she wanted us off her property! This was 8am check out wasn’t until 10. We had woken up and come straight to the office no time to get dressed or put out camper-van back in driving order. She said “you have 20 mins to get off my property” being a well respected member of the health bored and count my self as a caring people person I was in shock and left with a lump in my throat. Not allowing us to the free night is one thing, but I do not think anyone should be subject to this kind of treatment.
